| God Bless America Received by Rev. Betty Tatalajski “God bless America” Sing the song, say the prayer. Keep the flag of freedom flying In your hearts and in the air. There are those whose minds are narrow And they wave the flag in fear. But Old Glory must be protected, Wave her high and sing your cheer. Cheers of freedom for all people In this land, all others, too. All are kindred on this planet; Old Glory waves not just for you. For our God created America As a symbol of peace for all. Let’s hold high this standard of freedom; Our lofty visions must not fall. The Statue of Liberty stands as a promise That all are born to be free. God Bless America and its people. And that means everyone, you and me. |
