RENEWAL

Spring is the time of re-birth, of rejuvenation, of resurrection, of new beginnings. Nature seems to renew herself. Vegetation that appears to be dead turns green and puts forth shoots. The plumage of some species of birds turns a brighter hue. We don lighter and brighter clothing. There is a new vibration in our lives, a feeling of great promise.
However, just as vegetation that is smothered and choked by the dead growth from past years is unable to fulfill its promise, so do we fail to fulfill our promise of growth if we allow old fears, old limiting beliefs to overcome us. All of us have wonderful dreams, plans and ideas but many times these thoughts never see the light of day for they are smothered by fear. Fear is devastating to life and it takes many forms: thoughts of the obstacles and delays that might face us; fear of ridicule or criticism; a belief that we are limited and inadequate to the task or that we are inferior to others in some way. Choked out by fear our wonderful dreams, plans and ideas die within us and all humanity suffers the deprivation.
When we denigrate and criticize ourselves, we limit and criticize the Beloved Infinite Spirit that dwells within us and within all things. We must become aware of and accept our strengths, our abilities, our goodness and become our own husbandman by clearing out all fear from our minds in order that our growth may become possible. The push of life is constant and there is no end to our possibilities. Through the constant cleansing of our mind we begin to experience higher and higher levels of awareness and we thus become a cornucopia of blessings poured out to the Universe.
