                             And Then The Angels Came

Thank You from Rev. Diane Powell

For the past six months, I have shared only a few events and blessings regarding the Grail experience.  These stories will continue.  Recently we observed the truths of our teachings as a dear friend beautifully shares his personal transformation.

Stories from real life are a treasure and inspiration to us all as the veil between our worlds becomes even thinner, and our awareness becomes clearer.

Bill Salter has agreed to share his poem that he wrote the first night home from the hospital the first week in January.

Bill and Beverly are very close friends and know the Grail stories, and they always carry their Grail healing cloths with them.

Here is his poem.

The day started normal, not much of a hurry.
Just going along, no cares or worries.

Then out of the blue as if by surprise,
blind sighted by health, before I realized.

People were saying things like, will I last?
Ambulance was called, things now moving fast.

I’m OK, was my response, I’m not sick you see.
I’m big and strong, nothing is wrong with me.

All of a sudden there were interns, and more than one nurse.
There were doctors whispering — expect the worse.

My angel said softly, as she held my hand:
“Don’t worry my darling, we will make a stand”.
By now I’m out of my shell of the man—

Looking from afar, down on the sick man.
Body pressures with numbers rising along.
Everyone knew something was truly wrong.

The medicine was given even when you’re asleep —
Time tables and charts, schedules to keep.

But, when the night settled down, and I saw me lying there,
more angels came around, swirling in the air.

It was beautiful, and real, and I’ll tell you one more thing.
There is nothing more beautiful than hearing angels sing.

From my perch I was looking all around the room.
I knew I was seeing life — not death or gloom.

Betty was there, and also Diane; everything was OK.
I knew it was ‘cause they were holding Bev’s hand.

All of a sudden the room was white and  clean.
The shell of the sick man grew stronger, you know what I mean.

The Power of prayer brought life back to me.
The strength of spirit (from he or she).

As I realized I was seeing goodness and grace,
there’s nothing like smiles from a good friend’s face.

Like a miracle, I’m better, each day I’ll get stronger
I’ll thank the spirits for giving me longer.

You see, when I first awoke, truly things were scary
But my comfort set in when I saw my friend Harry.

See, we came out here to be with our friends.
And they’re growing by numbers —friends, friends, friends.

It took away all my trouble and pain.  I ’m so grateful for finding White Eagle and sharing, and knowing and loving his people.
